Frequently asked questions
- Why is my photo sideways after taking it on my phone?
- Some cameras save the actual pixel data unrotated and rely on an EXIF orientation flag instead — if a viewer ignores that flag, the photo displays sideways, which manually rotating and re-exporting fixes permanently.
- Does rotating by a custom angle crop the corners?
- Rotating by anything other than a 90-degree step leaves the canvas either padded with transparent/blank corners or cropped to the largest rectangle that fits, depending on your chosen mode.
- Is my image uploaded anywhere?
- No. Rotation happens entirely in your browser.
