Is pixelation actually secure for redacting sensitive information?

Standard pixelation can sometimes be partially reversed with enhancement techniques, especially at low pixelation strength — for genuinely sensitive redaction, heavy pixelation or solid-color blocking is safer than light pixelation.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. Pixelation happens entirely in your browser.

Can I pixelate just part of the image?
