Password Entropy Visualizer — Bit-Strength as a Live Graph
Type a password to watch its entropy plotted live as a graph that grows with every character — the same underlying bits-of-entropy formula as Entropy Calc, but visualised so you can see exactly which characters contributed the most (or least) to overall strength as you type.
How to use Entropy Pro
- Type your password.
- Watch the entropy graph build in real time.
- See which characters added the most to your score.
Frequently asked questions
- How is this different from Entropy Calc?
- Same underlying formula, different presentation — Entropy Calc shows a single final number; this shows the running graph as you build the password, so you can see where strength comes from.
- Why does adding a symbol jump the graph more than adding a letter?
- Entropy scales with the log of character-set size — mixing in a new character class (symbols, digits) increases the effective set size more than adding another character from a class already in use.
- Is my password sent anywhere?
- No. The graph is computed and rendered entirely in your browser as you type.
